Mon, 03 Apr 2017 11:05:07 +0000 Dear Editor, It is now more than two months since the Law Association of Zambia made three very profound decision which have divided the organisation to a point of many considering the formation of a different association to serve professional rather than political problems. To date there has been no explanation why LAZ should pay legal fees for Nchima Nchito who is representing Fred M’membe and why indeed the association wishing to become a friend of the court in a case where it has already taken sides by paying legal fees for one of the parties. This lack of transparency and the additional dubious dabbling of the association in the 2021 Presidential matter brings it into a very difficult place where nothing short of a proper explanation will suffice.
