They do not mean well for us. The voices from the European Union questioning our democracy are a reflection of the position that their local agents in Zambia have taken. It can therefore be expected that no amount of explanation to the international community will suffice because their powerful lobbies have accelerated propaganda against Zambia. We should not take what is happening lightly because it reflects what international capital expected to happen in Zambia in the last elections and would indeed want to happen. We must guard our nation jealously because the forces ranged against us are powerful.
