Speaking during the UPND Central Province card renewal in Kabwe on Sunday, Mr Hichilema said the election petition still stands because as UPND they wanted the rule of law and human rights to prevail over the matter. Mr Hichilema claimed that the UPND beat the Patriotic Front in Central Province during the last general elections, adding that those were the facts that some people have refused to accept because they were embarrassed to do so. “I want to say once more that people misunderstand, they don’t want the facts because they are embarrassed with the facts.
