Sat, 24 Feb 2018 09:16:34 +0000 By PETER MALASHA UNITED Party for National Development (UPND) has reported to Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) and alerted Police about allegations of improper issuance of stalls at Mkushi’s Itala market involving embattled Chibefwe ward councillor Geshom Musonda. UPND Mkushi district chairman Davy Nyoni confirmed the development in a statement issued to the Daily Nation. Mr. Nyoni said his party had formally reported to the ACC for thorough investigations on the matter and alerted the Police for the way forward. Mr. Nyoni said allegations against Councillor Musonda should be cleared before the public as soon as possible. “UPND is curious as to why Mkushi District Council has taken so long to act on the matter with facts and in public interest.
