In his resignation letter obtained by the Daily Nation, Mr Mulikita has cited dictatorial kind of leadership, arrogance, tribalism, selfishness and lack of respect for the rule of law as some of the reasons that has made him to resign from the party. He said people should know that UPND has nothing to offer to the people of Zambia. “This is evident with their regional and tribal tag of instigating people including traditional leaders to rise against government,” he said. He also accused Mushindamo council chairman Lackson Mulumbi of being arrogant, which has led to councillors being frustrated.
