In an interview over the weekend, Mr Chungu said that national events such as the Youth Day were not political in any way and stated that some opposition leaders were merely seeking attention from the public. The non-governmental organisation has accused the UPND of propagating division in the country, saying that such manoeuvres were aimed at advancing their political agenda.
