UN Secretary General António Guterres has said while humanity is living in a time of great promise, the world is still faced with deep insecurity. In a congratulatory letter to President Edgar Lungu, on the country’s 53rd Independence Anniversary, Mr Guterres said the UN as a human global family is striving for dignity, justice, progress and prosperity. Mr Guterres said dignity, justice, progress and prosperity among nations depended on peace, noting that the values, which are binding nations together are enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations.
