Indeed, the members of Parliament must be commended for such a good recommendation. The call for the disbandment of the traffic department of Zambia Police is long overdue. To start with, the traffic department under Zambia Police Service is not doing any commendable job, to say the least. This is the department whose officers are synonymous with corruption. Even the word CORRUPTION itself knows these officers and their supervisors by name. For those who have driven from Lusaka to Livingstone, will agree with me that if you have a vehicle with a minor defect, e.g. a blown tail light bulb, the driver will be made to pay throughout the whole route to be allowed passage […]
