Mr Chisulo said the protection of children from all forms of violence ranging from gender inequality to protection from economic exploitation should be accelerated. Officiating at the Day of an African Child in Ndola, whose theme is “Accelerating Protection, Empowerment and Equal Opportunities for children in Zambia by 2030 through Child Participation”, Mr Chisulo noted that the day helped to create awareness on the importance of children in their own issues. “Awareness activities should take place that will be beneficial and of value to learners.
