Speaking in an interview with the Daily Nation, Mr. Hamiyanda said he was pleased with the Ministry of General Education for deploying seven teachers in the ward. Mr.Hamiyanda said the move has cheered residents in areas where the teachers had been deployed especially at Luanga Primary School where one teacher was running the learning institution single handedly. “I am really commending government for the gesture which has offset teachers under staffing in schools in the ward. The move will also enhance pupils’ ability to learn effectively. “Luangwa Primary School which had a critical shortage of teachers received five while Chikabile and Mankanda received one each.
