Mr Hamududu said President Edgar Lungu’s observation that something must be done in Lusaka to correct the sanitation situation should be supported and that it must be a rallying point to clean the city. He said councils around the country were inefficient and that the Urban Renewal Programme was long overdue as it would act as a solution to help address sanitation challenges and at the same time benefit most party cadres across political divides as well as youths who would be offered employment to clean and pave the towns.
