Thu, 04 Jan 2018 12:51:44 +0000 By Ketra Kalunga THE Kabwe Municipal Council has suspended street vending indefinitely to facilitate a massive cleaning exercise to prevent the spread of cholera in the district. Speaking at a media briefing, the mayor, Mr Prince Chileshe said the defence forces would today move in to clean the town and unblock the drainages so that water can flow freely within the central business district. Mr Chileshe said the cleaning exercise was a necessary evil that needed to be done to prevent loss of lives through cholera despite the inconvenience caused to the street vendors.
