Stephen Musenge, 18, found at the Seventh Day Adventist church said the Head of State was a father for all, hence there was an urgent need for him to donate to them items such as clothes and beddings just like the way he had cared for the prisoners. “We are appealing to our President, to assist us with clothes especially blankets. We are affected by the cold especially that it is rain season. We have nothing to cover ourselves with except the carton boxes and plastics,” he said amid sobs.
