Both District Commissioner Lovemore Kanyama and Police sources have confirmed the development to the Daily Nation in Siavonga. “Yea I can confirm that police in Siavonga District are holding a man of Kanyelele compound aged between 30 – 34 years who defiled a 6 year old girl of the same compound,” said Kanyama. He said the man is currently in police cells while police have continued with their investigations on case to establish the circumstances that led to the defilement. And a Police source said the man was picked from his home after some neighbours to the girl reported the matter.
