Thu, 08 Feb 2018 07:55:10 +0000 By JUSTINA MULENGA A 19-year-old boy of Rwandese origin of Kamwala yesterday appeared before the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court for allegedly defiling a 1 year 9 months old baby. The matter came up for continued trial before Magistrate Ireen Wishimanga. In this matter, Issa Frank stands charged with one count of defilement of a child contrary to the laws of Zambia, a charge which he has since denied. It is alleged that Issa on November 9th 2017 in Lusaka, had unlawful carnal knowledge of a girl under the age of 16 years. However the matter could not take off as the parents of the accused person were not present in court. The court warned the accused who is on bail to come with his parents on February 28th 2018 for continued trial.
