Wed, 01 Mar 2017 13:17:10 +0000 By JUSTINA MULENGA WOODLANDS Extension residents have complained to Lusaka City Council (LCC) about the mushrooming of illegal bars owned by foreigners being a nuisance and operating beyond stipulated hours. The residents said one of the bars was situated along Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula Road just after the National Housing Authority (NHA) offices. “We are calling on Lusaka City Council to look into this matter because is it disturbing our neighborhood,” said a concerned resident. He said that the foreign bar owners have been defying the law and should be brought to book. “These foreigners have got no regard or respect for the people living in this area, they only do things as they like without any remorse,” said another concerned resident.
