Mr. Malindi said the strong investor interest in the company increased the potential of local small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to overcome capital constraints. He advised SMEs to work towards attracting capital to their businesses for increased growth. “There is need for SMEs to capitalize on efficient service delivery by establishing unique and creative partnerships. This will put them in a strong position to deliver superior customer value, guaranteeing sustained liquidity and attracting strong investor interest,“ he said. He said the growth and sustainability of Zambia’s economy depended on a strong small business sector that would create more jobs, provide more revenue for the national Treasury, and ultimately alleviate poverty.
