In an interview with the Daily Nation, Ms. Katongo explained that the pilot project was still in its infancy stage before it could be rolled out to other parts of the country. “For all service charges the public have stopped paying direct to the police officers but for traffic offences they are still using both systems the new and the old system so we are trying to see how best we can fully implement the new system,” she said.
