Samwalu Milupi a Pharmacist working at Levy Mwanawasa Hospital sued Berth Namulunga Milupi a social worker in the Ministry of Community Development and Social Services claiming that the marriage had broken down irretrievably. Mr Milupi alleged in a petition for dissolution of marriage filed in the High Court that his wife had threatened to poison him and that the threats greatly affected the marriage to an extent that he stopped eating food prepared by her. He indicated that Ms Milupi also lacked respect for him as she would insult and verbally abuse him without reason.
