Tue, 30 May 2017 10:52:23 +0000 By CHINTU MALAMBO SOME residents of Lusaka’s Garden Chilulu area have expressed concern over having sleepless nights due to the noise and loud music played by bars operating beyond stipulated hours. “We have been failing to sleep during these past few months because these bars have been making a lot of noise. I don’t understand why these bars are operating for such long hours,” one of the residents lamented. In an interview with the Daily Nation, a Garden compound resident Mr Musiwa, said that some bars were operating on a 24-hour basis causing noise pollution in the area. He charged that the bars were surrounded by houses and it was not good for them to operate throughout the night.
