Their strategy, he said, employed local political parties which they funded and supported. Having failed to gain power in the last elections, their efforts were now directed at gaining power by forcing a government of national unity. “There is no room for it Zambia because we won the elections in 50%+1 contest,” he said. President Lungu said his administration could not form a party of national unity with the opposition UPND and he will not be persuaded by anybody to do.
