According to a final 23-man squad unveiled yesterday by FAZ secretariat ahead of the CHAN tournament which kicks-off on January 13 in Morocco , national team head coach Wedson Nyirenda has kept his faith in Ng’onga, defenders Simon Silwimba, Fackson Kapumbu and Augustine Mulenga. Those left out are Red Arrows striker Lubinda Mundia, goalkeeper Kenny Mumba, Jimmy Nakena, Kampamba, Solomon Sakala and Gamphani Lungu of National Assembly. He will carry five strikers to Morocco in Ng’onga, Friday Samu (Green Buffaloes), Martin Phiri (Zanaco), Lazarous Kambole (Zesco United) and Chanda Mushili (Lumwana Radiants).
