Mr Kapula said technology had become part of the factors that enhanced business growth. Speaking when he launched the Fibronics internet product, he said embracing technology would foster economic growth. He announced that the company had invested US $1 million in the installation of the internet system in Lusaka. “We have set aside a total of US $1 million for the installation of the Fibronics system in Kabulonga and Sunningdale in Lusaka,’’ he said. Mr Kapula said the project was expected to take two months to set up in which customers would receive free connection. He said initially the project was targeting 15,000 homes within the two areas.
