This is contained in a petition filed in a motion by two ward councillors requesting Ndola City Council to set up a committee of inquiry to investigate the matter. Mr. Kasaba has been accused by Ministry of Health and Ndola City Council Public health inspectors of having interfered in their routine inspection exercise at the Chinese owned shopping Mall known as Mei Mei. The inspectors claim that they were prevented from seizing expired food discovered at one of the restaurants and shop at shopping complex situated along the Ndola – Kitwe dual carriage way.
