Sat, 24 Feb 2018 10:10:17 +0000 By KELVIN SIABANA WE have started sensitisation campaigns to ensure the public and council employees clearly understands Statutory Instrument (SI) number 10 of 2018 concerning street vending and public nuisances, says Ndola City Council public relations manager, Tilyenji Mwanza. In an interview with the Daily Nation, Ms Mwanza said the public to have a better and clear understanding of the SI, the local authority had partnered with some community radio stations in the city to sensitise masses about the law. The Ministry of Local Government and Housing has amended Statutory Instrument number 54 of 1992 that strengthens laws against street vending and public nuisances.
