Sun, 05 Nov 2017 12:00:14 +0000 By Michael Miyoba HELLEN Mwale has bounced back as MISA Zambia chairperson after trouncing her challenger, Wilson Mpondamali in an election preceded by an acrimonious annual general meeting. Ms Mwale garnered 106 votes against Mr Mpondamali’s 33 while the position of vice-chairperson was scooped by Hyde Hagunta who got 103 against 34 votes for Ms Besa Katongo from Solwezi. Others elected to the National Governing Council include Millennium Radio’s Martin Akande. Mr Akande, who is also Millennium Radio news editor went unopposed along with two others, Father Barnabas Simatende from Liseli Radio and Veronica Mwaba. The meeting also adopted the auditor’s report and agreed to reappoint AMG Global Accountants who have been MISA auditors since 2011.
