District commissioner Benson Ngambo told the Daily Nation in an interview that the hammermill would help the school become school self-sustaining and consequently result in the reduction of school fees. He said there was an outcry from members of the public who have been failing to enroll their children at that school due to high school fees. ‘’The whole idea is to make the school self-sustaining so that it can start generating funds and reduce dependence on government grants,” he said.
