Pirates announced the signing of the influential midfielder from Zanaco yesterday. Mulenga is Pirates second Chipolopolo signing in six months after striker Justin Shonga who joined the team from Nkwazi last August. Club administrative officer Floyd Mbele was confident Mulenga would make an immediate impact at Pirates. Mbele said the 28-year-old and 2017 Zambian Footballer of the Year had accounted himself well at both club and national team levels. “We are delighted to have finally secured the services of Augustine. He is an accomplished player who has all the qualities to make an immediate impact at the club, “I would like to thank Zanaco management for their professionalism during negotiations,” he said.
