Mr Kamondo told the Daily Nation in an interview that the relocation of the provincial capital will accelerate infrastructure development which will create employment not only for the people of Mufumbwe but the entire province. ‘‘I want this implemented because when you look at other provinces, for example, Southern Province, when the provincial capital was moved to Choma, that accelerated development in that district,’’ Mr Kamondo said. He said Mufumbwe was more central for administrative purposes, hence the need for Government to expedite the implementation process. ‘’That is one advantage.
