Tue, 28 Nov 2017 15:00:49 +0000 THE Basic Teachers Union of Zambia has admitted that Mkushi teachers embroiled in a sex party scandal, took pupils, some of them minors, for a braii at an awkward time and out of school bounds but are not sure if any sex took place. The union has insisted that they will not protect any teachers found guilty of abusing pupils in any way, including failing to guide them against bad vices such as underage alcohol abuse. BETUZ secretary-general Geoffrey Simuntala said a report from the fact finding mission undertaken to ascertain the allegations of a sex party involving four teachers and some under-age pupils was that the said teachers had taken the learners for an out of school braii beyond curfew.
