Tue, 08 Aug 2017 14:15:21 +0000 Dear Editor, We residents of the above areas wish to request for a clearance from Millennium Challenge Account (MCA) on the connection fees for the supply of water in the three communities. It is understood that there was a meeting held at Mulungushi International Conference Centre which was attended by three participants. These were MCA, Lusaka Water and Sewerage Company (LWSC) management and executive committee representing the communities. It seems there was no clear instruction as to how connection fees per plot will be paid. We understand that the American people are the financiers of this project and Lusaka Water and Sewerage Company has not contributed anything towards this project. Surprisingly LWSC is charging K1, 000. 00 and no negotiations of paying in instalments.
