Tue, 16 Jan 2018 10:02:15 +0000 By JUSTINA MULENGA TWO witnesses yesterday took the stand in the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court to testify against a 35-year-old man alleged to have defiled a 15-year-old imbicile of Mungule area. When the matter came up for plea before magistrate Mwaka Mikalile, the accused, Saidi Zulu pleaded not guilty to the charge alleging that it was the girl’s stepfather who was having carnal knowledge of her. It is alleged that Saidi Zulu defiled an embicile under the age of 16 years contrary to the laws of Zambia. On September 5th 2017 in Lusaka, Saidi Zulu knowingly had unlawful carnal knowledge of a juvenile who to his knowledge is an imbicile.
