Brian Ernest Nkandu was initially charged with stock theft contrary to section 275 chapter 87 of the penal code of the laws of Zambia. Facts are that on dates unknown but between 1st to 31st June 2017, in Lufwanyama on the Copperbelt, Nkandu stole three cows valued at K50, 000, the property of Mukaza Muchika. According to facts, in June last year, Mr. Muchika discovered that three cows were missing from Lamba plantation where he had taken them for grazing and later reported the matter to Kalulushi police. In July, Mr. Muchika received news from an informant that he had bought three cows resembling his and he later identified the already slaughtered cow.
