This was in a case in which Charles Phiri, 56, of Barastone compound sued James Parkinson Junior of Lusaka West for allegedly deflowering and impregnating his daughter, Theresa Phiri. When the claim was read, James denied the charge. Phiri told Senior Court Magistrates Miyanda Banda, Pauline Newa and Ronnie Shafwensha at Matero Local Court that in 2015 Theresa stopped going to school and that she could come home at 18 hours smelling beer or not come back. He explained that Theresa spent a month out and that this year she was discovered pregnant adding that she went missing and she since has a one month and five days old baby.
