Sat, 05 Nov 2016 13:27:57 +0000 A SECOND-year male nursing student at Solwezi School of Nursing has died after drowning in Mutanda river in Solwezi district. And North Western provincial medical officer Dr Simulyana Choonga identified the deceased as Timothy Silishebo, aged 28 years. Dr Choonga narrated that Silishebo together with other students had been at Mumena rural health centre for rural experience when he went swimming in the Mutanda river and later met his fate. “It was after lessons that the deceased went swimming together with his friends and in the process he drowned,’’ he explained. The body is lying in Solwezi General Hospital awaiting burial.
