Tue, 04 Jul 2017 10:36:40 +0000 BY SANDRA MACHIMA GOVERNMENT has advised traditional leaders to utilise the ministry of chiefs and traditional affairs that was created with the all-purpose to bridge the gap between the government and chiefs. Western Province minister Nathaniel Mubukwano said the ministry had an overall responsibility to formulate policy, coordinate and implement the programmes of traditional affairs. Mr Mubukwano said government attaches great importance to traditional ceremonies that were a unifying factor and a source of development. The minister was speaking when he officiated at this year’s Kazanga Ttraditional Ceremony of the Nkoya speaking people in Kaoma yesterday.
