Prof Luo said it was time tertiary institutions begun offering courses tha would help diversify the economy from mining. She said institutions must focus their attention to offering courses that were critical to the development of agriculture, tourism and industrialization in line with the countries vision. Prof Luo said that Zambia needed skilled human resource critical to the economic turnaround. “Institutions of higher learning should refocus their attention towards producing the skills needed to progress according to the President’s manifesto,” she said.
