Rev Banda said that the proposed dialogue between President Lungu and Mr Hichilema was a welcome move. He said in an interview that reconciliation between the two would help the country to heal. Rev Banda however said that dialogue should be extended to other political players because many were still at loggerheads with each other. He said that dialogue and reconciliation between all political players was imperative for the country to forge ahead.
