Mon, 30 Nov -0001 00:00:00 +0000 KAFUE has been earmarked for a US$3.4 million children referral eye hospital to primary cater for kids with disabilities, says visiting Lions Club International, president Robert Corlew. Mr Corlew who yesterday laid a foundation stone for the construction of the hospital at Pande area, said the hospital would help a lot of disabled children especially the blind and those with eye problems. He said there were many children who came from poor families and could not afford to pay medical bills hence the need for the Lions to embark on the project. He further stated that the hospital would comprise medical expertise to offer surgery as well render help to children with sight challenges in Zambia.
