There must be a business case. Secondly we don’t have capital and technical capabilities to restart QZ. Ethiopian Airlines does and that costs money. Thirdly, few businesses generate profits in the first three years. Let’s learn to be patient. Fourthly, airline business in Zambia is worth $1.5b per annum. Why do we want to let foreign airlines get all this just because we have cholera? That’s retrospective thinking. Fifthly, an airline is like any infrastructure – you’re building roads in the air into your country. Profits to economy may also be indirect.
