In early hours of yesterday a suspended UPND cadre Lloyd Kabaso was apprehended in possession of highly dangerous explosives ear-marked for bombing the buildings in Lusaka Central District (CDB) by alert members of the public. But police spokesperson Esther Katongo has dispelled assertions circulating on social media linking it to politics and that it was a pure matter of shop breaking. Mr Chanda said citizen policing like neighborhood watch remained crucial in curbing evil acts by criminals hiding behind the veil of a political agendas.
