Mr Chungu urged Mr Kambwili to make peace with his colleagues in the PF or leave the party peacefully if he so wished because he shared the good and bad times with the party. He said the Roan Member of Parliament had taken a right step by seeking reconciliation with the people of Southern Province whom he had offended through his words and conduct while he was minister. Mr Chungu said it was commendable that Mr Kambwili had realised his wrongs and for having shown a desire to correct them even though some section of society viewed his apology as a political gymnastic.
