Lusaka Mayor Wilson Kalumba said the council was determined to invest in other types of equipment and trucks to help the workload and carry out their work more efficiently. Mr Kalumba said the local authority decided to purchase the trucks because it lacked the necessary equipment. The civic leader said this in Lusaka yesterday during the launch of the trucks and he expressed hope that the move would help keep the city clean and healthy. “The Lusaka City Council has purchased eight tipper trucks valued at K 5.6 million which will help in garbage collection and keep our city clean.
