Fri, 23 Feb 2018 08:05:14 +0000 By VIOLET TEMBO THE Lama – Lima Royal Council (LLRC) committee chairperson Joseph Nsundwe has commended President Edger Lungu over his decision to reshuffle his cabinet. Mr. Nsundwe said the shift will enable the government to deliver and seal loopholes which had resulted in certain sectors not registering progress. Mr. Nsundwe said the subjects in the Lamba land were expecting to witness development being spearheaded in the agriculture, education and livestock sectors respectively. The council has since appealed to the new Minister of Agriculture Michael Katambo to resolve lapses in the implementation of the electronic voucher system. He pointed out that challenges faced in the 2017/2018 farming season had resulted in many farmers failing to access farming inputs. “The agriculture sector is critical to the economy, especially for settlers in Lamba land.
