Mr Kabwe said the province was blessed with fertile soils conducive for different farming activities, hence the need for those interested to seriously invest in the sector for the economic benefit of the country. “If the agricultural sector is boosted and improved to international standards the province can start exporting different agricultural products both raw and finished in order for the country to gain the much needed foreign currency,” he said. He appealed to both local and foreign investors to invest in the agricultural sector heavily for Central Province to become the agricultural hub of the country and the Southern African region.
