Sat, 25 Mar 2017 12:32:54 +0000 …as FAZ council also ponders reducing Electoral College or risk Zambia being banned by FIFACOUNCILLORS are today expected to decide the fate of suspended Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) vice president Richard Kazala and executive committee member Blackwell Siwale during the soccer body annual general meeting (AGM) at Government Complex in Lusaka. FAZ is also expected to implement the FIFA directive to reduce the Electoral College from 380 to below 100, failure to which Zambia will be suspended from international soccer engagements which includes the Under-20 World Cup in May. FIFA has given FAZ till March 31, 2017, to amend its constitution. The other item on the agenda is the expansion of the Super League from 18 to 20 teams which has received massive backing from lower division teams.
