Kabwata constituency has been described as the most advanced constituency in the province, while Kanyama constituency has been labelled as the dirtiest and Munali takes the honours for cleanest followed by Kabwata. According to respondents, Matero constituency MP, Lloyd Kaziya has not been visiting the constituency frequently. The respondents said that Mr Kaziya has not been performing according to expectations, despite him residing within the constituency. Most noted that Matero constituency was thriving during the tenure of former MP, Miles Sampa. “Matero constituency is not as it used to be, there is garbage everywhere and the new MP is not performing like the old one,” they said.
