Wed, 14 Dec 2016 12:39:47 +0000 Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) official Maxmillian Chanda has withdrawn the corruption case against the soccer body chief Andrew Kamanga. In October Chanda, reported Kamanga to the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) for alleged corrupt activities after assuming office. In a letter to ACC and made available to Daily Nation yesterday, Chanda claimed that he was withdrawing the case because FAZ had the capacity to resolve the matter in accordance with its statues and disciplinary codes. “I wish to inform you that I have decided to withdraw the case I reported at your office involving the abuse of authority involving the FAZ president. I am the member of FAZ which has its own statues and disciplinary codes for its members at which I never attempted at all cost when dealing with this internal and administrative matter,” he said.
