The Zambian soccer icon confirmed this yesterday on his official tweeter account @KalushaPBwalya. “Proud to have been appointed as chairman of the #CAF Technical and Development committee,” read his tweet on his official page. And Ghanaian Kwesi Nyantankyi has been appointed CAF first vice-president while Democratic Republic of Congo’s Omari Constant is the new second vice-president. The appointments were announced yesterday at the CAF congress in Bahrain. During the same congress, serving CAF executive committee members were tasked to head various committees which saw Kalusha being appointed to lead the CAF technical development committee.
