Mr Kasongo said it was unfortunate that the judicial system had been turned into a circus by the cartel, whose agents are ignoring regulations and ethics with impunity in the discharge of their duties. He told the Daily Nation that it was no secret that the Judiciary had been infiltrated by the cartel leading to the numerous ambiguities that had been observed in the recent past. “How do you entertain a baseless case instead of throwing it out, what interest do you have as a judicial officer?
